About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Store Keeper. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our store/warehouse by assisting with inventory management, stocking shelves, receiving and processing deliveries, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming deliveries, checking against purchase orders and invoices.
Unpack and store merchandise in designated locations according to established procedures.
Conduct regular inventory checks and audits using our inventory management system.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inventory levels.
Stock shelves and displays properly, ensuring product visibility and accessibility.
Assist with the preparation and fulfillment of customer orders.
Conduct basic warehouse/store maintenance tasks such as cleaning, organizing, and safety checks.
Assist with other duties as assigned by the Store Keeper or Supervisor.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience in a warehouse, retail, or inventory management setting a plus.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
