About Us

The Companionship of Works Organization (CoWA) is an impact-driven registered national NGO with over 25 years of experience in creating sustainable livelihoods for youths, women, marginalized groups and last mile communities through employability and entrepreneurial training and opportunity channels. CoWA also focuses on community development, climate resilience, economic empowerment, and sustainable agriculture by promoting balance where human, natural, and economic parameters are interdependent to ensure sustainable livelihood. Over the past 25 years, CoWA has reached over 165,000 youth and women, mainly from informal settlements, with access to over 31 counties across the country and aims to ,cover more ground to ensure communities secure a decent livelihood.
