Job Summary
The Consultancy expected Outputs & Deliverables
- Kenya Sign language interpretation of the content presented by keynote speakers and panel discussion speakers.
- Facilitation of communication between the deaf and other participants and the event moderator.
Qualifications
Certification in Kenya sign language Interpretation.; At least 2 years demonstrable experience in Kenyan sign language interpretation during forums and trainings (experience in interpreting issues on gender development or community development and governance will be an added advantage)
Skills
Ability to communicate effectively and in a diplomatic manner at all levels
Job requirements
Objectives:
- The sign language interpreter will be tasked with;
- Provision of Kenya sign language interpretation services during virtual or physical meetings.
- Liaison with a co-interpreter to ensure continuous and seamless interpretation of meeting proceedings
- The Consultancy expected Outputs & Deliverables
- Kenya Sign language interpretation of the content presented by keynote speakers and panel discussion speakers.
- Facilitation of communication between the deaf and other participants and the event moderator.
Consultancy activity schedule / Timeline
- The duration of the consultancy will be for 1-2 days or as shall be determined by CRAWN Trust
